Acceptable Use Policy

The short list of things you must not use our storage for.

Last updated: the date this page was published.

1. The principle

Our storage exists to protect legitimate business data. It must not be used to break the law or to harm other people.

2. Not permitted

  • Material that is illegal under Pakistani law
  • Child sexual abuse material — this is reported to the authorities without exception
  • Distributing malware, ransomware or tools whose purpose is to attack other systems
  • Storing or distributing copyrighted material you have no right to
  • Using the service to send spam, or to host the infrastructure behind it
  • Attempting to gain access to another customer account or to our systems
  • Reselling the service as your own without a written agreement with us

3. Fair use

Plans are sized for normal business use. If usage is so far outside the plan that it affects other customers, we will contact you and discuss the right plan rather than cutting you off.

4. Security research

If you find a vulnerability in our systems, tell us through the contact page before telling anyone else, and do not access data that is not yours. We will not pursue researchers who act in good faith and give us reasonable time to fix the problem.

5. What happens if this policy is broken

Depending on severity, we may contact you, suspend the service, or end the account. Where the law requires it, we report. Where we can, we will speak to you first.

6. Reporting abuse

Suspected abuse of our service can be reported from the contact page. Please include enough detail for us to find it.

Not sure which plan fits?

Tell us what you need protected — how many machines, how much data, which databases — and we will tell you honestly what it takes.
