Terms of Service

The agreement between you and DISK.PK when you use our services.

Last updated: the date this page was published. If we change these terms materially we will tell account holders by email before the change takes effect.

1. Who these terms are between

These terms are between DISK.PK ("we", "us") and the person or organisation that opens an account ("you"). By ordering, paying for or using any service you accept them.

2. The service

We provide cloud storage, cloud backup, database backup and related data-protection services. What you have bought — capacity, retention period, number of devices — is what is shown on your order and invoice.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for what happens under your account, including the actions of the users you give access to.
  • You must give us accurate contact and billing details and keep them current.
  • Keep your password to yourself. We will never ask you for it. If you believe someone else has it, reset it immediately and tell us.

4. Your data

  • Your data remains yours. We do not claim ownership of it and we do not sell it.
  • We store it in order to provide the service you have paid for. We access it only where necessary to run or fix the service, or where the law requires it.
  • You are responsible for having the right to store and process the data you send us.

5. Payment

  • Services are billed in advance for the period shown on the invoice.
  • Accepted methods are shown at checkout. Prices in Pakistani rupees and in US dollars are separate prices, not currency conversions of one another.
  • If an invoice remains unpaid after the due date we may suspend the service. We will tell you before we do.

6. Suspension and termination

  • You may cancel at any time from the customer portal or by writing to us. Cancellation stops the next renewal.
  • We may suspend or end a service that breaches the Acceptable Use Policy, that is used unlawfully, or that remains unpaid.
  • After an account closes we keep your stored data for a short grace period so you can retrieve it, then delete it. Ask us if you need to know the exact window that applies to your plan.

7. Availability

We work to keep the service available and to restore it quickly when it is not. Specific commitments, where they exist, are in the Service Level Agreement.

8. Limits of responsibility

  • We are responsible for providing the service with reasonable skill and care.
  • We are not responsible for loss caused by things outside our control, including your own equipment, your internet connection, your own configuration choices, or events such as war, natural disaster or nationwide network failure.
  • Except where the law does not allow it to be limited, our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
  • Backup reduces risk. It does not eliminate it. We strongly recommend you also verify your own restores.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced to account holders in advance. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan have jurisdiction over any dispute.

11. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent through our contact page.
